We started the 10th grade blogging by reading and commenting about short stories we read in class. Now begins the independent reading and blogging. The first book I have chosen is The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Krause. Enjoy the journey and give your peers something to think about!

Hey everyone,
You probably won’t hear much from me this coming week. Races start Saturday for 8 days straight and there are 2 races (or more) a day. Thanks for checking in with me and all your support. Please be gentle to the teachers.

Well, it is Sunday the 23rd and I have made it to Mark’s abode in Hingham MA. I’ll be here a few days and will keep checking out the blog. Help Matt get on, will you guys? I’ve added a couple more short stories to read and discuss! Enjoy! Ms. S

Hi everyone!
Ms. S. is back from sailing and in town. We seem to be slow on this blog correspondence, so how about meeting up again? I will e-mail everyone and we’ll set a date, place and time. If you talk to your peers, please encourage them to sign up and start blogging–the wiki page too! I have also added those folks who hadn’t registered before I left…go at it folks! If you have questions just respond to this post!

Hi everyone!
I hope you get into blogging and talking about the book(s)! It was great to see everyone Friday and/or Saturday!
I’m not sure I told everyone, but I have joined a member of the United States Disabled Sailing Team to try for a shot at qualifying for the Beijing Paralympics (Summer of 2008). I told some of you that I would post my skipper’s site (Mark Lewis) and the website for the big regatta right here in Rochester (September). My own site is not up yet, but I’ll get there (got to fundraise!). I’m taking off for a race in Marblehead MA Tuesday (July 24th) and then camping until August 4th. Mrs. Corke will check in as will I when I can.
Mark Lewis and myself are “Team Eagle”: http://teameagle.org/ (I’ve been procrastinating with putting my “profile” on his web site
.)
